GatleyNet To Host Easter Market
This year GatleyNet will be hosting an Easter Market on Thursday 25th March for all the local community to enjoy. The market will begin at 3.30pm and be open until 8pm to ensure all the family can join in the fun. The market will be situated in the BOSSco Car Park, which is set in the heart of Gatley, next to the old Tatton Cinema.
The new Easter Market, featuring a vast array of stalls, will provide various seasonal treats from local traders and crafts people. Stalls will be selling unique Easter gifts, handcrafted accessories, artisan jewellery, fun puzzles and games and the Easter essential, chocolate. Chocolate will be the star attraction with Ediblesworld’s personalised chocolate Easter cards and design your own chocolate lollipops.
Organised by GatleyNet in support of the CLIC Sargent charity, the outdoor Easter Market aims to bring together the community and local traders from the surrounding areas, whilst raising funds and awareness in support of the work CLIC Sargent does for children with cancer. The Market department of Stockport Council is providing the market stalls.
GatleyNet previously organised a Christmas Market which was a great success amongst local shoppers and stallholders. Daniel Kilroy, who owns the jewellery company Posh, participated in the Christmas Market and stated, “The Christmas Market was a well organised local event. It had a great atmosphere and it was so nice to see local people and local businesses coming together.”
Entry to the market is free. Refreshments will be available in BOSSco. The Market promises to be a fun filled experience and a prime opportunity for customers to shop locally and really experience what Gatley has to offer.
